Statement of Faith

The Statement of Faith outlined below represents the core beliefs and doctrines of a Christian faith community. Here's a breakdown of each point:

  1. Inspiration of the Bible: The belief that the Bible is inspired by God and serves as the perfect written plan for humanity. This implies that it is without error and serves as the authoritative guide for faith and practice.

  2. Trinity: Affirmation of the doctrine of the Trinity, which states that there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

  3. Virgin Birth: Belief in the miraculous conception of Jesus Christ by the Virgin Mary, emphasizing his dual nature as both fully human and fully divine.

  4. Blessed Hope: The anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ to gather his followers (the Church) in an event known as the Rapture, preceding his second coming to establish his kingdom on earth.

  5. Sin and Salvation: Recognition of the universal condition of sinfulness among humanity and the belief that through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, individuals can be reconciled to God and restored to fellowship with Him.

  6. Baptism in the Holy Spirit: Belief that the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by speaking in tongues, is a distinct experience subsequent to salvation, empowering believers for Christian life and service.

  7. Divine Healing: Belief in the provision of physical healing for the human body through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.

  8. Sanctification: The ongoing process by which believers are set apart and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live holy and righteous lives in accordance with God's will.

  9. Five-Fold Ministries: Recognition of the five-fold ministries—Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers—as gifts given by Christ for the purpose of equipping and edifying the body of believers, promoting unity and maturity in the faith.

These beliefs reflect the theological foundations and principles upon which International Church Fellowship operates and shapes its understanding of God, salvation, the Church, and Christian living.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is inspired by God and the only perfect written plan for mankind.

We believe there is one True God, eternally manifested in three persons; Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Known as the Trinity)

We believe in the Virgin Birth.  As God’s son Jesus was both human and divine.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, when Jesus Christ raptures His church prior to His second coming to the earth.

We believe that all have sinned and have come short of His Glory, (Romans 3:23) yet through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ every person can have restored fellowship with God through Salvation.

We believe the evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is “Speaking in tongues” as experienced on the day of Pentecost according to Acts 2:4.

We believe in Divine Healing of the human body based on the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.

We believe in Sanctification through the power of the Holy Spirit in which the Christian is empowered to live a Holy life in the present earth.

We believe in the Five-Fold Ministries (Apostle, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, and Teachers) according to Ephesians 4:11-12 for the edifying of the body of Christ.
